Discharge process


Your nurse will assist you in the discharge process which may take few hours to complete the process. Once your final bill is generated, you are expected to clear your dues by paying cash or by a credit/debit card. The nurse will Hand over your discharge summary and belongings (like thermometer, urinal bedpan, etc. – used during the course of your stay). She will also explain the medication you need to continue after your discharge and any other follow-up instructions. In case You need a medical ambulance to drop you at your home, then please inform your nurse and She will make the necessary arrangement

  1. Process of discharge is initiated after administration /consultant advice.
  2. On completion of hospitalization a detailed discharge summary covering investigation reports, treatments given and advise on discharge will be provided by the attending doctor.
  3. In insurance /cashless /medico legal cases all records are kept with the hospital, however, a photocopy of these documents and duplicates of Radiological Investigation can be provided on cash payment.
  4. Check out time is 1200 hours.
  5. Charges for the full day on the day of admission are applicable irrespective of time of check In.
  6. For up to 6 hours of stay as an in patient , charges of half day would be levied. However , the stay on 6 hours and above up to 24 hours is counted as one day.
  7. It would take approximately three hours to process a patient''s discharge . This includes the preparation of discharge summary. return of unused medicines and consumables, compilation of reports and preparation of bills.
